Reevana is an engineer by qualification and innovation senior manager by profession. Reevana holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and an MBA. She has published work in international conferences and remains a fan of academia and research. She has an interest in cybersecurity and cryptocurrencies, in addition to her passion for skills/youth development. In addition to co-founding Cybherfence, she works on leading the engineering of new technologies in AI&XR at CSIR. She also worked for Vodacom as a senior innovation manager, where she managed ideation and innovation programmes across African markets. She has a rich background in the telecommunications industry in product strategy, data science and strategic analytics. At WomHub, she is a tech specialist, creating content for the AI and Cybersecurity workstreams. She serves on a number of boards, is a member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa and she has numerous accolades in the engineering space. She is a US Department of State Exchange Alumni and a Millennium Fellow at the Atlantic Council. She is committed to social development and has facilitated meditation courses, among other social service activities. She has delivered keynote addresses on various key technology stages, including those hosted by the World Engineering Education Forum, the Global Engineering Dean’s Council, and Cambridge University. She has a passion for all things technology, fostering growth and prosperity in developing nations, and engineering sustainable societies for the future.
